Accreditation

Broad Branch Children’s House is an accredited member school of the American Montessori Society (AMS). Accreditation is a voluntary process available to AMS member schools and undertaken by those that are committed to the Montessori philosophy and continuous improvement. As an accredited school, we adhere to rigorous criteria, ensuring that our programs, teaching methods, and learning environments align seamlessly with the principles laid out by the society.

Every seven years, an AMS-accredited school must undergo reaccreditation. Through a self-study and documentation process, a school defines itself in terms of strengths and areas that need improvement, and validates that the school abides by the Montessori philosophy and best practices. As such, when you choose BBCH for your child's early education, you know you are investing in a high quality Montessori program that is dedicated to ongoing school improvement and professional development.
